Carrie Underwood Hopeful To Meet Deaf Fan Who Signs In Powerful Video

Carrie Underwood wants to meet 8-year-old ‘Champion,’ Savannah Dahan after watching a video of the girl signing to the chart-topping hit that she and Ludacris released in 2018.

Savannah’s father, Richard Dahan shared the powerful video of his deaf daughter signing along to "The Champion" via Twitter with a request to retweet in hopes of gaining the “Cry Pretty” singer’s attention. “Please RT to get @carrieunderwood to meet my deaf 8 year old daughter! #CarrieUnderwood #deaftalent @Ludacris,“ said Dahan.

His call to action caused a flurry of inspired responses on social media, which included 2,299 retweets from fellow Twitter users helping the powerful clip eventually make its way to Carrie. Carrie received the video with open arms and cordially embraced the idea of meeting her young fan. "Savannah, you’re amazing! I’d love to meet you too! #CryPretty360” tweeted the "Love Wins" singer.

According to Twitter, the Dahan family resides in Frederick, MD making Carrie’s closest tour stop 'Capitol One Arena' in Washington, D.C. happening her Oct. 4.
