This is a strange case. And it has Arkansas/Oklahoma ties.

"Boulder police are searching for a missing woman’s remains in Arkansas and other states.

25-year-old Ashley Mead and her daughter were discovered to be missing on February 14, 2017 after Mead didn’t show up for work.  The daughter was found unharmed the next day with her father.  She was placed in the temporary care of Child Protectives Services in Oklahoma.

Investigators believe that Mead was killed in Boulder and then at least partially dismembered near Shreveport, Louisiana.  They think that the victim’s body parts may have been discarded in a variety of communities that the suspect passed through, according to a released statement.

Partial human remains were found in a dumpster in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on February 16.  The remains have not been officially identified, but they have been tentatively identified as the remains of Ashley Mead, according to Boulder Police.

“Adam Densmore, the father of Ashley Mead's child has been arrested on charges of first-degree murder. The arrest affidavit has been sealed by the court,” according to a statement released by Boulder Police.

Detectives are currently trying to identify Densmore’s travel route.  They believe that Densmore left Boulder on February 12 and traveled to Raton, New Mexico.  He then may have traveled through the Texas panhandle to get to Haughton, Louisiana on February 13.  Detectives think he spent the night in Conway, Arkansas on February 14.  On February 15, he stopped in Okmulgee, Oklahoma before being arrested near Tulsa, Oklahoma.

According to the statement, detectives believe part of Mead’s body could be in a purple suitcase.  If you see a suitcase in an odd location, do not touch it and contact the local police department.
