Greenwood football coach Brian Sims is in critical condition at a hospital in Tulsa.
He has been diagnosed with Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis and Stevens-Johnson Syndrome.
My sister-in-law actually suffered from Stevens-Johnson Syndrome several years ago. This is a very rare and serious condition that causes burn like blisters all over your body.
Currently, Sims is being treated in the burn unit of the hospital in Tulsa.
Reports say the symptoms started with a small rash on Sims' leg which he believed to be poison ivy at first.
At Greenwood's spring game tomorrow (May 18th) a bucket will be passed around for donations to help with medical and financial costs.
