Jake Owen and his tiny house, Miranda is a single woman again, Blake cancels shows.
Miranda Lambert may be the most-awarded ACM Female Vocalist of the Year, but she’s not resting on her laurels. In an exclusive conversation with CMT’s Cody Alan, the eight-time winner and 2018 nominee in the category reveals she’s not throwing in the towel just yet.
“I don’t think I’m ready to pass it along,” she says of handing the Female Vocalist torch to another female, “but I wouldn’t be mad about it. I’m still going to fight for it.”
In 2017, Miranda beat Reba McEntire’s longtime record by winning her eighth-consecutive ACM Female Vocalist of the Year trophy. She’s nominated among the female crop again at this April’s ceremony alongside Kelsea Ballerini, Reba, Maren Morris and Carrie Underwood.
Miranda also nabbed 2018 nominations for Song of the Year for “Tin Man” (as artist and songwriter) and Video of the Year for “We Should Be Friends.” Reba hosts the 53rd Annual ACM Awards live from Las Vegas on Sunday, April 15, at 8 P.M. ET on CBS.
Jake Owen is living in a tiny 400 square foot house since he sold his huge house a while back. The house that he bought from Loretta Lynn sold much quicker than anticipated. Going from the house pictured below to 400 square feet must be quit the adjustment for Jake.
