Actor Judge Reinhold to Appear at Special Screening to Benefit Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches

BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS (November 9, 2018) – Actor Judge Reinhold will make a special appearance on Sunday, December 2 at the Melba Theater in Batesville for a screening of the holiday film The Santa Clause starring Tim Allen. Reinhold, who plays Neal in Disney’s The Santa Clause is known for his roles in Beverly Hills Cop, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and Seinfeld.

The Santa Clause will kick off the theater’s Very Melba Christmas series. Judge Reinhold will meet and greet moviegoers at this special screening, which is also a benefit for the local nonprofit organization Arkansas Sheriffs' Youth Ranches. The film will begin at 6:30 pm on Sunday, December 2 at the Melba Theater, located at 115 West Main Street in downtown Batesville. There will also be a question-and-answer session and an opportunity for signings with Reinhold after the screening.

Tickets for this special showing are $5 each and can be purchased at the door or at www.melbatheater.org. 100% of each ticket sold will be donated to the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches. Reinhold is also encouraging attendees to bring an unwrapped Christmas present appropriate for ages 6-18 for the children who live at the Ranch. "The Youth Ranch has been around for over 40 years,” said Reinhold. “The children who live here come from all over the state. Even though they aren't with their biological families, the staff loves them and raises them like their own family, and they are proud to live at the Ranch."

About the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches

The Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches (ASYR) has been providing safe, loving homes for children since 1976. Founded by the Sheriffs’ of Arkansas, the ASYR is a private nonprofit 501c3 charitable organization and has helped raise more than 2,100 boys and girls from every corner of the state.

The Ranch does one thing – raise kids – and it does it well! Children, typically ages six to 18, are raised in large family style homes with loving house parents on a real working ranch. The Ranch is committed to keeping siblings together. Children who come to the Ranch are encouraged to stay once they graduate high school and continue their education or work until they have the financial and job stability for independence.

The Ranch is more than 90% privately funded by donations and provides for all needs associated with raising a child including loving houseparents, shelter, food, clothing, educational expenses, medical care, etc. For more information on the Ranch, visit www.YouthRanches.com.
