You heard Arkansas native Heath Sanders first on the Bobby Bones Show last February. Bobby invited Heath to drive to Nashville from Arkansas after his cover of a Chris Stapleton song went viral. (See that video below.)
Since then, things have been taking off for Heath! He has signed a management deal in Nashville with the same group that manages another Arkansas native, country superstar Justin Moore. Heath will soon sign a deal with Sony as a songwriter. He will be writing songs that could be picked up by major country artists that you hear every day on your favorite iHeartCountry station.
Heath has been playing gigs across the country. His next stop is Sunday, January 27th at Eddie's Attic in Decatur, Georgia. Then, he'll be back in Arkansas on Saturday, February 2nd for a show at the Tumbling Shoals VFW.
Heath caught us up on his recent success during our interview on The Vine. We also got to hear a song that he wrote. I especially love this song, because it mentions the Ozark Mountains and the Buffalo River. Heath and I are from the same stomping grounds, around Van Buren County, so I loved hearing those references of places nearby. Check out the interview and song in the video above. And be watching out and listening for Heath Sanders on your radio!
The video that set Heath on a musical career path. After this went viral, Bobby Bones had Heath on his national radio show to perform live.
