Reba McEntire To Host 2019 ACM Awards

Country music’s favorite fiery redhead is back to host the 2019 ACM Awards.

Reba McEntire will return to emcee the 2019 ACM awards. The entertainment icon shared her excitement around hosting the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas saying, “On my way to Vegas! So excited to be back hosting the 54th @acmawards on CBS, Sunday, April 7. #ACMawards”

The video clip that Reba shared on socials is typical of her comedy laden antics. “I’m on my way to Vegas to host the Academy of Country Music Awards,” says the redhead as she walks along an abandoned desert highway. The camera pans out and exposes a moving sidewalk and soundstage. “You didn’t really think I was walking, did ya?” she quips.

Reba is a natural host and a one-woman show, making her the perfect choice for such a prestigious honor. As a 16-time ACM winner herself, Reba cites hosting the ACMS as a highlight and is eager to return. The “Fancy” singer, has also become a brilliant asset to the ‘CMA Country Christmas’ taping and has acted as host for two seasons.

Reba may have other news to share with fans today. She has also been cryptically teasing new music that is expected today (Feb. 11th). Reba shared a post on Instagram with the caption, "What’s #StrongerThanTheTruth? I’ll let you know on Monday." Could it finally be the album that she had teased last year?
