No matter where you fall on the political spectrum, this is hilarious!
A man impersonating former United States President George W. Bush delivered a hysterical parody to the tune of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" inspired by the one and only President Donald Trump.
"There is a man, his name is Trump, he kicked my baby brother's rump," he sang to kick off his performance. "But you don't really care for politics do ya?"
The man's portrayal of Bush is as spot-on as his jokes poking fun at both ends of the political spectrum. While the song overall is a work of comedic art, the talented impersonator took a serious turn near the end when he encouraged Americans to "wait it out" and "give Pence a chance," so that maybe one day "with one united voice we'll all sing hallelujah."
While Jeff Buckley's version of "Hallelujah" is the most commonly covered, the song was originally released by Cohen in 1984. The song transcends both time and language barriers, dipping into the Top 10 in countries across the globe.
