Little Big Town is not only celebrating another chart topping single with the Taylor Swift-penned tune "Better Man," but also a historic Ryman Auditorium residency.
Country music's hottest quartet kicked off their year-long residency at the Mother Church Friday night (February 24) with the help of some of their fellow country stars including CMA Male Vocalist of the Year Chris Stapleton.
As Little Big Town began singing the opening notes of Stapleton's signature hit "Tennessee Whiskey," the man himself made his way to the stage where he took over the vocals as the crowd cheered in delight. Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook, and Phillip Sweet backed up Stapleton with occasional harmonies, but the soulful voice of Stapleton rang loud and clear over the others as he delivered a flawless performance of the song that made him a household name.
