Middle Tennessee has been on high alert the last 24 hours. A tornado watch was issued early Wednesday morning (March 1) and wind speeds were clocked at around 70mph in some areas.
Trees have fallen and damaged several building including homes, garages, and a preschool. Power poles were blown over, causing major power outages and a boy in Montgomery County was taken to the hospital after a tree fell on his family's trailer.
Some areas of Tennessee have reported tornadoes touching down, and several school districts have closed schools. Many a country star live in Middle Tennessee, and one has revealed that her home has been damaged due to the storm.
Carrie Underwood woke up on Wednesday to find her chimney in her driveway but thanks to her Oklahoma roots, this wasn't a big deal to her.
"Woke up to tornado sirens and hail...our chimney is currently in our driveway...tree limbs everywhere...feels like home," she tweeted.
