FLW Update.....Kids Unified Fishing Derby is cancelled

FLW FOUNDATION KID’S UNIFIED FISHING DERBY CANCELED

 

Advisory for Friday, April 28, 2017

 

WHAT:  The Fishing League Worldwide (FLW) Foundation’s Unified Fishing Derby, scheduled for Saturday morning at Lake Bentonville Park, has been canceled due to inclement weather being forecast for the weekend. All other takeoff, weigh-in and Expo activities will proceed as planned.

 

WHEN:                 Saturday, April 29 – Sunday, April 30

 

WHERE:              FLW Tour at Beaver Lake Expo and Weigh-In

                             Prairie Creek Park

9300 N. Park Road

Rogers, Ark.

 

NOTES: Anglers will take off from the Prairie Creek Park Boat Ramp located at 9300 N. Park Road in Rogers at 6:30 a.m. each day of competition. Friday’s weigh-in will be held at Prairie Creek Park beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday’s weigh-ins will be also be held at Prairie Creek Park, but will begin at 4 p.m.

 

Prior to the weigh-ins Saturday and Sunday, FLW will host a free Fishing Expo at Prairie Creek Park from noon to 4 p.m. each day. The Expo is a chance for fishing fans to meet their favorite anglers, enjoy interactive games, activities and giveaways provided by FLW sponsors, and learn more about the sport of fishing and other outdoor activities.
