Her award ceremony is TODAY!

Underwood's Hollywood Walk of Fame star -- the 2,646th star in the Walk of Fame -- will be situated at 1750 N. Vine St., in front of Capitol Records. Underwood is receiving her star in the recording category. Former American Idol judge Simon Cowell and Underwood's friend and CMA Awards co-host Brad Paisley will be on hand for the event, along with Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Leron Gubler.

Underwood is part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame's Class of 2018, though her addition to the landmark was announced in June of 2017. In addition to Underwood, Mary J. Blige, Petula Clark, Harry Connick Jr., Ice T, Snoop Dogg and "Weird Al" Yankovic are the other musicians who are part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame's Class of 2018; Virgin Group founder Richard Branson will also earn a star in the recording category. Underwood is the only country artist to earn a Hollywood Walk of Fame star as part of the Class of 2018.

Other 2018 Hollywood Walk of Fame inductees include Jack Black, Jennifer Lawrence and Minnie Mouse in the movies category (among others), and Simon Cowell, Taraji P. Henson and Steve Irwin, among others, in the TV category. Charles Aznavour, Lin Manuel Miranda and Bernie Mac are 2018's live theater honorees, while Steve Jones is the lone radio honoree.

On Sept. 14, Underwood released a new studio album, Cry Pretty, after spending 2017 largely away from the limelight. In November she will return to co-host the 2017 CMA Awards with Paisley.
