Yes, at Milan Fashion Week, models strutted designs from Belgian label A.F. Vandervorst and most of the gym-ready wedding looks featured the unforgiving spandex bottoms. The brand paired formal biker shorts with everything from suit jackets to satin and lace hoodies to very 80s puff-sleeved taffeta mini dresses. And if you’re wondering what shoes would go with wedding biker shorts, boots and sneakers are what the models wore.
While the bridal bike shorts thing seems a little out there to some of us, they have been enjoying a comeback recently. Celebs like Kim Kardashian and Bella Hadid have been spotted heading out in bike shorts, accessorized with diamonds and heels, of course. And you can even buy high-end designer versions of the clingy garment for $400, if your old gym shorts won’t do.
