The claim of fake news might be right!!

Social media might be a warzone, but on the streets? A lot of people are feeling pretty good about the future.

There may be a distinct lack of civility in civil discourse these days, but a new Gallup poll shows a majority of Americans believe the best days of the United States are yet to come.

The poll says 55 percent of adults – up from 47% in 2012 – in the United States believe the United States' best days are ahead, while 41 percent say the best days are behind. As for the political breakdown of who’s feeling hopeful, 69% of Republicans, 54% of Independents, and 47% of Democrats feel that our country’s best days are coming.

Also interesting? Gallup found that 38% of those polled are satisfied with the direction of the country – and while that sounds low, it’s actually a 12-year high – and correlates with the job market.
