We had a great time on Saturday, August 11th participating in the Lip Sync Battle for the Make-a-Wish Foundation at Robinson Auditorium. I got a chance to be Travis Tritt, even though my goatee fell off as soon as I walked on stage. So I looked more like Trashley Tritt than Travis Tritt. Thanks to my co-worker Kevin Cruise on his awesome Charlie Daniels performance. We had a great time. More importantly, we helped grant wished for these amazing kids!
The only thing that would have made it better is if I actually remembered that this was a LIP SYNCH Battle! I kept forgetting to lip sync. Guess I was having too much fun jumping around the stage with the awesome Red River Cloggers from Heber Spring and Clinton, Arkansas. (They weren't wearing clogging shoes for this one, but we may have to do that next year.)
