Another Bridal Fashion Week is in the books and now we know what the biggest trends from the fall 2020 runways will be. Whether you’re planning a wedding and trying to decide what to wear or you just like daydreaming, these are the top new trends in wedding dresses.
- Tiered skirts- Think part prairie dress, part Princess Diana, where tiers of textured fabric billow out from the dresses’ defined waists.
- Gathered sleeves- Beyond the bubble sleeve, these are more dramatic and even puffier, and the fabric is gathered with ribbon or stitching.
- Square necks- This detail is subtle, modern and elegantly highlights the collarbone.
- Painted florals- From watercolor blooms to wallpaper-like prints, colorful floral patterns make a statement.
- Dusty pink- The shade is darker than blush, but not quite bubblegum, and brides who want a color other than white may be feeling pretty in a pink wedding gown.
- Cowl necklines- A few folds of material gives a simple, but refined look.
- Gilded headbands- Sure, this trend isn’t about the actual dress, but brides who aren’t into a traditional veil may be into these padded headbands in shades of cream, blush, or champagne with pearl or bead embellishments.
