Eating rules that are OK to break, and some that are not!!

Parents definitely have a lot of rules for kids when it comes to what they can eat, as well as when and where, and it seems as adults, a lot of folks love the fact that they have the freedom to break those rules.

A new survey finds, the biggest eating rule adults love to break is eating on the couch (51%), followed by:

  • Breakfast for dinner (50%)
  • Snacks before dinner (50%)
  • Eat sugary food before bed (45%)
  • Dessert for dinner (37%)
  • Not eating all my vegetables (16%)

Of course, when it comes to eating, there are some things you could only really get away with as a kid, but that’s not stopping adults from wanting to be able to do them again. For example, 43% of people say would love for it to be okay to eat with their hands, while 38% want to blow bubbles in their drink.Other things adults would love to do include:

  • Hiding food you don’t like (37%)
  • Playing with your food (36%)
  • Giving food to the dog (35%)
  • Blowing straw wrapper at someone (33%)
  • Avoiding vegetables (32%)
  • Throwing food (32%)
