BILL MURRAY: Wins Super Bowl Commercial Poll
The timing was perfect for Jeep andBill Murray.
With this year's Super Bowl being played on Groundhog Day, Jeep's commercial on the broadcast referenced Murray's classic film comedy of the same name -- making it a joyride for the famous weatherman and Punxsutawney Phil -- while pitching the latest off-road model. It had all the little details down pat: the same setting, co-star (Stephen Tobolowsky) and even the identical clock radio!
