SafeHome.org crunched some government numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the FBI -- among others -- and ranked the heaviest drinking states.
Here’s a rundown of the Top 10:
- District of Columbia
- Vermont
- South Dakota
- New Hampshire
- North Dakota
- Wisconsin
- Iowa
- Montana
- Nebraska
- Colorado
Coming in at the bottom of the list are the lightest drinking states: Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama and Oklahoma. (WKOW-TV)
