Picking the right name for your child is never easy, and everyone is bound to have an opinion. Well, one person has a big issue with the name her cousin has chosen for her child, and the Internet is now chiming in.
A couple recently got some major feedback from their cousin about what they thought would be the perfect name for their unborn son. The couple picked a first and last name that are family names that begin with M and O and they plan to call him Mo. But the cousin pointed out that with the family’s surname being Leicester (pronounced Lester) it would make the baby’s name sound awfully like the word “molester.” The cousin shared the “red flags” with the couple, who didn’t see an issue, but the OP insisted the kid is “gonna get bullied when his classmates can put two and two together.”
The whole thing has now caused some major family drama, with the OP being accused of being “jealous” of her cousin having a baby. Of course, folks on Reddit had their opinions, with many agreeing that the name is ridiculous, with one person going so far as to call it “abuse., while another called the parents, "really selfish and hopelessly optimistic.”
