VERIZON: Pulls Facebook Ads
You won't see any Verizon ads on Facebook for a while.
The telecom giant has pulled its ads from the social-media platform.
It wants Facebook to push back against misinformation and hate speech.
Verizon's chief media officer, John Nitti, says, “We’re pausing our advertising until Facebook can create an acceptable solution that makes us comfortable and is consistent with what we’ve done with YouTube and other partners."
Facebook takes in some $70 billion a year in advertising.
