ELLEN DeGENERES: Invites Audience Into Studio
Ellen DeGeneres did something different for Tuesday’s taping of her daytime talk show: She allowed humans into her studio.
Ten days ago, Los Angeles relaxed COVID restrictions for TV productions. For the first time, audience members are permitted, but they must wear masks and sit six feet apart. Ellen made 40 seats available for in-studio fans. They’ll be visible during Wednesday’s program along with her virtual audience.
Ellen’s Halloween episode on Friday will also have an in-studio audience dressed in costumes. Looking ahead, Ellen hopes Los Angeles maintains COVID policies so she may invite fans to 12 Days of Giveaways tapings.
