Terrible news out of Madison County. Deputies are searching for 2 children that were swept away by flood waters on Saturday afternoon.
The car the children were passengers in was attempting to cross a low water bridge near Hindsville. The woman driving escaped the vehicle, but authorities were unable to find the kids.
Madison County authorities are not sure if the children are still inside the car or if they were able to escape. The search is on-going.
