While some cities in Arkansas are beginning to clean up after the flooding, the cresting of the river in central Arkansas is just happening.
One family is basically sitting on an island as the flood waters surround their home. The Hargett family placed 10,000 sandbags around their home and so far, so good. There have been leaks from time to time, but for the most part, the house is dry. For days, dozens of volunteers worked to pile up sandbags, creating a fortress against the rising waters.
