The swollen Arkansas River has breached levees and caused major flooding from Tulsa to Ft. Smith to Little Rock, and will continue its historic flooding and damage as it makes its way to its confluence with the Mississippi River.

Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA), fresh off Disaster Response (DR) missions to Missouri and Kansas for tornado recovery, plans to deploy DR Teams to the Ft. Smith and Central Arkansas areas to provide flood recovery/muck-out operations.

SDIA DR leadership will visit the flooded areas and make final determinations on deployment dates and locations by Friday evening, June 7.Tentative deployment dates are June 12-15 and June 17-21. An announcement will be emailed and posted to social media once final details are determined.

If you are available to deploy during the month of June, please register at https://podio.com/webforms/22528178/1589227. After registering, you will be added to the list of DR volunteers and will receive deployment information as it becomes available.
