As part of the City of Fayetteville’s Esports program, the Fayetteville Parks and Recreation division announces the formation of new Madden 21 leagues for youth ages 11 to 17 and for adults ages 18 and up. Registration is open now. The cost is $5 per person and the deadline for registration is September 4. Register online at www.fayetteville-ar.gov/recreation.
The Madden league will be a five-week regular season, with one match per week, scheduled for Tuesday evenings. Game platforms eligible are PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. There will be separate leagues for each platform. A one-week tournament will follow the season, and prizes will be awarded to the winning team.
The City’s first Esports league, the 2v2 Rocket League, is continuing to accept registration through Friday, August 14. Additional eSports leagues are planned for this fall, including NBA2k21 and FIFA 21. For more information about the City’s Esports program, visit www.fayetteville-ar.gov/esports
