Old Dominion took fans behind the scenes of one of their latest music videos, creating a stunning visual for their heartache ballad with Lucky artist Megan Moroney. The award-winning band collaborated with Moroney on “Can’t Break Up Now,” one of 18 tracks that appears on their latest full-length record, Memory Lane.

“What made creating the ‘Can’t Break Up Now’ music video so fun was that everyone got to be who they are, doing what they do… and it wasn’t some concept,” Old Dominion shared in an Instagram caption as they debuted the behind-the-scenes glimpse of the music video. “It was us being a band. For us, that’s always the best way to be. To have [Megan Moroney] add the woman’s perspective made it that much better.”

Old Dominion released their collaboration with Moroney earlier this year, before the release of their full album. They’d previously teased the song after Moroney and Old Dominion’s frontman, Matthew Ramsey, posted photos wearing one another’s merch. Their vague captions only included “CBUN” and the duet’s August 18 release date. Old Dominion previously said they wrote “Can’t Break Up Now” “about being on the brink of a breakup,” and Moroney turned it “into what feels like a scene from a movie.” They said that “Megan’s a really intuitive singer, but she’s also a very smart songwriter. The way she came in and put her stamp on ‘Can’t Break Up Now’ blew our minds.”
