While a lot of people had drama free weddings in 2019, there were plenty of “I Dos” that were shocking, mostly because of the actions of either the bride, groom, in-laws and more.
There were tons of viral stories about bridezillas, groomzillas and more, and here are some of the most shocking.
- The bride who gave goldfish as wedding favors– One bride thought it would be cute to give guests a goldfish to take home, with the maid of honor put on “floater duty” to watch out for dead ones.
- The stepmom who “excommunicated” groom over “adults only” wedding- A groom claimed his stepmom cut him out of the family for only wanting adults at his wedding, and for trying to tell his stepsister she couldn’t bring her one-year-old to the wedding.
- The bride who kicked her sister out of the wedding because of her haircut– The bride flipped out when the sister cut off her hair to donate it and then demanded she get extensions or not be in the wedding. She chose the ladder
- The bride who scammed hundreds of dollars from wedding party– A bridesmaid told the other bridesmaids a dress cost $400 when it was only $200, and apparently the bride was in on it to get money to help pay for the bride’s dress.
- Bride’s mother-in-law shames couple over “gift grab” wedding– The mother was upset the couple was having a wedding when they were already legally married, suggesting they were just doing it for the presents.
- Groom threatened sister if she missed wedding for rehab– A mother shared how her son told his sister she’d be “dead" to him if she skipped his wedding even though it was only a week after she was getting out of rehab.
- Groom gets violent during wedding ceremony–Videoshowed a groom losing it after their cake cutting ceremony goes wrong.
