Tis' the season....DIVORCES! Where does Arkansas rank?

Where you live isn’t necessarily a factor when it comes to whether or not your marriage will last, but a new report reveals that there are some states where people are more likely to get divorced, and it may not be where you expect.

The list is based on info from the Centers for Disease Control, and are based on divorces per 1,000 total population.

Topping the list is Nevada, with a 4.4 divorce rate, but that could be because, thanks to Las Vegas, it’s historically been one of the best places for not only a quickie marriage, but a quickie divorce.

Nine States With The Highest Divorce Rates

  • Nevada (4.4)
  • Arkansas (4.1)
  • Idaho (3.8)
  • Oklahoma (3.8)
  • Utah (3.8)
  • Wyoming (3.8)
  • Alabama (3.7)
  • Alaska (3.7)
  • Florida (3.6)
