Doesn’t it seem like the perfect time for our bosses to let us all work from home and use all that quarantine time to modernize our offices? Imagine coming back into work after a month and stepping into the “perfect office.”What does it look like?According to a recent poll, it’s probably much different than what yours looks like now.
The study asked 2,000 working people what things they’d like in their “perfect workplace” and how they’d like to see their careers to change. Turns out one in six would like their workplace to have a gym, a third want more natural light, and 12% would love to bring in their pets.Here are the top 10 things workers would want in their perfect office:
- Lots of natural light
- Free fruit bowl
- A nice view from the window
- Free soft drinks
- A chair which is ergonomically set up
- Up-to-date technology
- Office plants
- Good coffee/ professional coffee machine
- Variable temperature control
- Free chocolates or cookies
