Lockdown is causing a "Green Acre" effect, rural America, here we come!

According to millennial trends, big-city dreams are old and busted. The new hotness is living that rural life. Every day, more and more 20-somethings are saying goodbye to urban settings and striking out the burbs.

Turns out that “Rent Is Too Damn High Guy” who was running for Mayor in NYC was really onto something. Our generation just can’t justify spending the $3,600 a month the average two-bedroom apartment goes for in places like San Francisco. You don’t need to be a financial expert to understand that having two separate recessions in the prime of your life isn’t exactly a launching pad to financial success.

So millennials are taking to smaller towns like a used minivan dealership.Cheap Old Housesare calling the new suburbs ‘Hipsturbia,’ where our generation is scoring deals on houses that seem like one, two, or even three zeroes have been forgotten off the price.

But it’s not like money is the only thing driving us to the outskirts of America. It’s also nice to have a living space that’s bigger than your body when, let’s just say, for example,a virus hits the country and forces everyone to work from home. Also, the high-speed Internet doesn’t hurt when work seems to be shifting to staying remote for the foreseeable future.
