- With all that in mind, Massachusetts earns the honor of best state to have a baby earning a score of 68.81 out of 100.
- Massachusetts comes in at number two for both healthcare and family friendliness, and at four for baby friendliness. It isn’t cheap though, with Massachusetts landing at 28thfor cost.
- District of Columbia, which ranks seventh overall, is tops for baby friendliness, while Minnesota, second over all, is on top for family friendliness.
- Meanwhile, Vermont, third overall, is tops for healthcare, and North Dakota, fourth overall, is tops for cost.
