White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany is rejecting speculation that the Trump administration is pressuring the FDA to approve a coronavirus vaccine before November's election.
At a briefing, she told reporters that President Trump is simply trying to break through regulatory barriers to ensure approval of a safe, effective vaccine as soon as possible. As we told you yesterday,the CDC has advised states to get ready to distribute any potential vaccinesthat may come out by November 1st.
