Hope you’re not counting on getting a gift this year from your younger loved ones this year. According to a new survey, the majority of Gen Z is planning on giving in to their inner Grinch in 2020.
The study has found nearly 75% of people born between 1997 and 2012 say they've put little or no thought into holiday gift-giving this year. And you might be thinking‘ well, maybe it’s just too early to be thinking about December’ but that doesn’t seem to be it considering 72% say they’re going to treat themselves instead.
But if the older generations want someone to blame for having less to open the tree, thank COVID19. Nearly half of Gen Z and Millennials say the coronavirus has impacted their gift-giving choices. Fingers crossed that Santa steps it up this year.
