SPACE: Mars to Make Big Appearance Tonight
Look up in the sky tonight for a great view of Mars.
Astronomers say the Red Planet will be "only" 38.6 million miles away from the Earth, which is unusually close, and won't be this close again until 2035. They say Mars will be very easy to see in the eastern sky with or without a telescope as it will be very big and bright. If you don't get to see it tonight, don't worry. Mars will still be easy to spot all month long.
