BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS:
Post Malone dominated the2020 Billboard Music Awards on Wednesday night, taking home a total nine awards, including Top Artist and Top Male Artist.
Other big winners included Khalid, with five; Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus with four, for their hit "Old Town Road," and Billie Eilish, who scored three awards, including Top New Artist.
Garth Brooks and rapper Killer Mike from Run the Jewels were honored with special awards. Garth got the Icon Award, which was presented by Cher and was followed by a medley of the country legend's hits. Killer Mike got the first Billboard Change Maker Award, presented by Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, for his social endeavors.
The show, hosted by Kelly Clarkson, was taped at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles without an audience, and also featured a number of notable performances, including Kelly with Pentatonix cover Steve Winwood's "Higher Love,"BTS doing their chart-topper "Dynamite," Demi Lovato sang her new political-themed "Commander in Chief," and Post Malone, joined by Tyla Yahweh, did "Circles" and "Tommy Lee."
Other performers included Alicia Keys, Brandy, Bad Bunny, John Legend, Kane Brown, Sia, Luke Combs and En Vogue.

REBA McENTIRE: TV Show in the Works
Reba McEntire is set to star in a TV series based on the movie and book Fried Green Tomatoes.
Reba plays Idgie Threadgoode, who returns to the Whistle Stop after being away for 10 years and struggles with the changes in the town, an estranged daughter, the failing café and a life-changing secret.
No word on when the show will go into production.

JOHNNY CASH: Songs Reimagined
Johnny Cash's music has been re-imagined by Britain’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
The new versions feature Johnny's original vocals backed by the orchestra. Songs include “I Walk the Line,” “Man in Black” and “Girl From the North Country,” his duet with Bob Dylan.
Johnny's son John Carter Cash says his dad was a big fan of the orchestra.
Johnny Cash and The Royal Philharmonic comes out on November 13th.
