Teacher reveals a Chromebook hack that might help students!

People have a lot of differing opinions about this school year, but one thing most parents can agree on? Remote learning is hard! From trying to get kids to focus on their lessons to serving as their personal IT person and troubleshooting technical issues, there’s a lot to deal with. But one teacher is sharing a hack to help make distance learning a little bit easier and we’re all grateful for the help.

This is for Chromebook laptops, which a lot of students are using right now. According to Florida teacher Carol Cleaver, with the touch of a few keys, a Chromebook can have a split screen, which will allow your kids to be on a meeting with their teacher and look at their work at the same time. All they have to do is click the “Alt” and the left bracket button ( [ ) at the same time and it will split their screens into two with no extensions needed.

“They can look at the material I am presenting and they can have me on camera and work on an assignment at the same time,” the teacher explains. And if it helps to make virtual school easier? Bring it on.
