CMA AWARDS: First Round of Performers Announced
The first performers for the 54th annual CMA Awards have been announced.
In addition to performances by hosts Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker, stars taking the stage include Eric Church, Luke Combs, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, and Maren Morris. Several collaborations are also on tap including Lady A and Darius, Thomas Rhett featuring Reba, Gabby Barrett and Charlie Puth, and Hillary Scott and Chris Tomlin.
The CMA Awards will air live from Nashville on November 11th.

BILLY JOE SHAVER: Dead at 81Breaking News
Outlaw country artist Billy Joe Shaver died yesterday at age 81 in Waco, Texas after suffering a stroke.
He toured until the time of his death. Earlier this year, he joined Tanya Tucker on stage at the Ryman Auditorium to sing "I'm Just an Old Chunk of Coal," which he wrote and was a hit for John Anderson. (Rolling Stone)
