Leroy James, the suspect from a Tuesday morning shooting has been arrested by Fayetteville Police and booked at Washington County Jail.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at 1655 Saddlehorn Ave. James ran from the scene firing at an officer. The officer was not injured.
James is being charged with First Degree Battery and parole violation.
