On Saturday, Faulkner County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call about a possible kidnapping.
According to reports, two men forced another man into a vehicle and drove toward Highway 365.
Deputies located the three men. Michael Phillips and Tommy Phillips were suspected of having the kidnapping victim and another man dig their own graves at gunpoint.
The victims told deputies that Tommy Phillips fled into the woods. Deputies searched the area the victims described and found a shovel, a chainsaw, an axe, freshly disturbed dirt, and the beginnings of a hole in the ground.
Michael Phillips was arrested on the scene for kidnapping and criminal attempt to commit capital murder. Tommy Phillips is still at large and is wanted for questioning by Faulkner County Sheriff Investigators.
