According to a new survey from CareerBuilder, men and women have very different expectations about how much money they will eventually earn during their careers.
When asked to estimate the highest salary they thought they would earn during their careers, 44% of men said they expected to make more than $100,000 – with only 20% of women answering the same.
About 12% of men expected a peak salary of $200,000 or more, compared to just 3% of women.
The reality, though, is that only about 14% of people who work full-time in 2015 earned over $100,000. (CBS News)
