Eric Church's five-year-old son Boone is on his payroll.
He makes 10 bucks a show helping the choir -- which sings on the opening number -- get onto the stage in time. Eric says, “Boone’s got a radio, he’s got his flashlight, he’s got a little work belt and his pass, he goes in there, and he’ll make sure that the choir’s ready to go.”
The little guy even negotiated a raise after he complained that his job was boring and that he was underpaid. “I shake his hand, and I’m thinking, ‘Good God, I just got hustled.’ And as he’s walking away, he goes, ‘That’s $30 for the weekend, right?'” (CMT)
