Several roads in NWA were flooded today after heavy rainfall overnight and early morning.
Here are some of the areas that were affected:
Highway 62 between Lincoln and Farmington had several roads flooded. Blue Springs Rd was closed after part of the road was washed away by flooding. Heavy damaged reported around Mill Hollow.
Pump Station Road in Springdale, between Silent Grove Road and Stultz Road, closed. In Johnson, there were multiple flooded roads.
In Fayetteville, buses had a hard time picking up kids for school in some areas. Highway 112 closed just north of Truckers Dr.
Not a complete list of some of the problems from this morning, but an idea of the amount of rain that we were dealing with.
And more heavy rain is expected over the weekend.
