Helping co-workers is bad for you and bad for business

According to a new study, stopping by the desk of your co-worker to help them when you’re already tired can actually increase mental exhaustion and lead to a toxic work environment filled with resentment and sabotage.

The study authors aren’t suggesting people ignore their co-workers. Instead, they warn that employees should be careful – and only offer help when they’re strong and alert. (Science Daily)
