A 15-year-old girl in Rockford, Illinois, is doing her best to make sure local kids have a comfortable place to sleep by providing sleeping bags to young people in need.
Serenity Brockman was inspired to give back to kids her own age, so she began collecting money to donate the sleeping bags to Rock House Kids, a non-profit that helps children who are less fortunate.
Serenity, who received donations from businesses, charity groups and families, says she hopes the more than 100 sleeping bags will help give the kids some security at home. (WIFR-TV)
