Relationships are never easy, and sometimes they come to an end. If you’re feeling like your relationship may be ending, there’s a word you may start using more frequently: “I.”
According to research by the University of Texas - Austin, people tend to use the word “I” more frequently about three months before they break up with their significant other. This research was conducted by analyzing more than a million Reddit posts from users who had talked about their breakup.
If you’re feeling like your relationship is on the rocks, it may be time to end things before it gets too complicated or messy. Talk to your partner about your concerns and see if there’s a way to fix things, but if there doesn’t seem to be a solution, it may be time to move on.
