Americans are known to love their pets and it appears that this love runs so deep that almost half of pet owners would consider getting a tattoo of their beloved animal.
A new survey polled 2,000 cat and dog owners, finding that 25% would consider getting a tattoo of their current pet while 25% were already planning on it. Surprisingly, another 16% have already gotten ink related to the furry friend in their life!
These results show how seriously many take their relationships with their pets. But why get a tattoo of your pet? For many, it’s an expression of love and appreciation for the animal’s unconditional affection. It can also serve as a memorial or celebration for the joyous times you shared together.
Whatever your reason may be for considering such a design, there’s no denying that having a tribute to your pet is something special - even if it is placed permanently on your skin!
