Lady Razorbacks hosts Hoops and Halloween

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Head coach Mike Neighbors and the University of Arkansas women’s basketball team hosts Hoops and Halloween welcoming Southwest Baptist University for exhibition action in Bud Walton Arena on Monday.

The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip and is the first of two exhibition contests for second-year head coach Neighbors. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for youth 17 and younger. Kids who come in costume receive free admission and the accompanying adult is just $2.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with a safe treat event featuring free candy, face painting, balloon art, a photo booth and appearances by the University of Arkansas Police Department K-9s. Trick or Treat bags will be provided at the door.

Be sure to listen for the announcement inviting our costumed guests to the court at halftime for a Halloween parade. The Razorbacks Twirlers, featuring Savannah Miller, will also perform. Parking is free and available in Lot 56, located at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Razorback Road. As a reminder, the clear bag policy is in effect for all Razorback Athletics events

A sixth, Alabama, played into the WNIT Quarterfinals a year ago.• Teams from the Pac-12 and Big Ten, along with the Southland, Summit, Ohio Valley and Southwestern Athletic Conference travel to Bud Walton Arena this season.
