SAFE AT HOME: Meteor Shower
Here's one after-dark activity the family can enjoy together: sky watching.
This week, theLyrid meteor showerpeaks. You might catch up to 20 shooting stars per hour! Make a wish every three minutes!
We’re in the middle of a new moon, meaning the stars appear even brighter in the night sky. Look to the northeast. Find the constellations Lyra and Hercules. The shooting stars originate near Lyra, which is why this meteor shower is called Lyrid.
