IT'S FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND
According to a new survey, two out of three guys say they’ve gotten to know their dads a lot more during the last few months, with some of them reaching out six times a week with calls, text messages or in-person visit.
As for gifts for Father’s Day, here’s what dads say they really want:
- 36% -- an ice-cold beer
- 35% -- a juicy steak dinner
- 31% -- a glass of whiskey
- 31% -- a phone call from the family
- 30% -- peace and quiet
- 26% -- a physical expensive gift, like a smart phone or other gadget
- 24% -- to watch whatever he wants on TV
- 23% -- to be left alone
- 22% -- to sleep in
- 22% -- to have sports back on TV
- 21% -- a cheaper practical gift, like socks or tools
With Father’s Day right around the bend, a new survey of 2,000 Americans with living fathers conducted byOmaha Steaks, aimed to get some insights into our relationship with dad and how the pandemic may have shaken up how we relate to them.
